Every jar begins at Govardhanapuram Gosala. Milk from our desi cows is set into curd, hand-churned with a wooden bilona until the butter rises, then slow-heated over a gentle fire until it turns golden.
The bull-driven ghani
Our seeds are crushed in a wooden ghani pulled round and round by our bulls. The slow turn keeps the oil cool, so its natural aroma, colour and nutrients stay just as nature made them.
